In eighteen years of practice, Lisa has focused entirely on the areas of Social Security and Long and Short Term disability law. Because of her knowledge in these practice areas, she has been hired as an expert witness in the field of disability in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. She is a graduate of the University of Florida and joined Gonzalez & Goetz in 1992 after earning her law degree from Temple University.
She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives. Lisa is admitted to the United States District Court in the Southern District of Florida. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.

David Goetz is a graduate of Syracuse University, magna cum laude, class of 1988. He earned his law degree from Temple University, in 1993, and was an editor for the Temple Law Review from 1991-1993. He went on to earn his Masters of Laws (LL.M) with honors from the University of Miami in 1998.
David Goetz has been a partner at the Law Offices of Gonzalez & Goetz since the year 2000. Prior to joining the law firm, he practiced with Deloitte & Touche LLP specializing in international tax matters. He represents our clients at hundreds of hearings every year before the Social Security Administration’s Offices of Disability Adjudication and Review. He also argues on behalf of our Social Security claimants at Federal Courts in the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and in Puerto Rico. David is admitted to the United States District Courts; both in the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and in Puerto Rico.
David donates his personal time and professional resources to further patients’ and claimants’ rights in his membership with the Scleroderma Association of South Florida as well as in his role as Board Member at Large for the Patient Alliance for Neuroendocrineimmune Disorders Organization for Research and Advocacy, or P.A.N.D.O.R.A. for short.
In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, David is also an active member of the professional community and is involved in several state and national associations; including the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives (frequently referred to by its acronym N.O.S.S.C.R.).
